A fab day at school - finishing the year off with a 1960's day to celebrate our 50th anniversary - we began the day with a fabulous whole school assembly based on the last 50 years of St Chris, followed by 60's songs performed by our student band - the whole senior school - all 1000+ of us got up and danced - was so much fun! Lessons all day long were in 1960's style: drill exercises and gymnastics in PE; JFK in History; Beatles hysteria in Drama; slide rule in Maths etc etc.
Andrew and I then raced to he girl's school at the end of the day for a 50th anniversary St Chris World Food cook Book launch that they had contributed to. We bought some extra copies for family. It is magnificent.
Then we bought back 3 of their friends for a swim playdate and McDonalds dinner!
Fantastic!!
