We're alive and well in India and waiting for the birthday girl to wake up and open her presents!
Having a wonderful time - had a fab time at the Grand Hyatt with our friend Barbara and her son Maximin and then a fantatsic couple of days with Tony and Aylin in Pune (pronounced poonay) and now chilling out in Colaba, Mumbai.
India has been brilliant so far...the friends, the food, the weather, the train ride to Pune in a sleeper cabin, meeting some wonderful locals - all very reminiscient of our time in Jakarta. No stomach upsets yet....but diet has gone to pot so will have to start from scratch again when we return to Bahrain!
Plan today is to go swimming at the hotel pool, then sight-seeing and market shopping today and take Annalise (and Juliette!) for a birthday ride on a horse and carriage around the south of the city.
Will write more of course, but sleeping beauty is stirring.
