Back to normal?

Rumours and News reports say that Bahrain's state of emergency and Martial law will end on 1st June....except that the GCC armies will stay on...so what that means, we don't know. Hopefully it means things will get back to normal - although they are pretty much already.
Things have been relatively calm here of late - we don't hear the chants at 8pm and 10pm anymore - although, I have to admit, we haven't been out in the garden at night lately as it has suddenly become BLOODY HOT! And the AC's are all on full blast 24 hours a day.
Our cars are all saying that temps are in the mid 50's - the local news say it's 45 or 48 degrees - all of a sudden, it's as if God has turned up the heating and we are now sweltering beyond belief. This last week has been hot, hot hot!!!!
This photo is still something we see on a daily occurrence - following armed vehicles - Annalise and Juliette always duck whenever we are behind one of these in case the 'bad man' fires a shot. I hope we aren't damaging them!
