Bowling Fun

On Friday, it was our close friends' daughter Josie's 8th birthday. The girls were taken to the Bowling Alley at the City Centre Mall for their first taste of Bowling (or 'Booling' as Juliette called it!).
The girls had an absolute ball (forgive the pun) and even us adults managed a game.

Andrew is still bragging that he beat all of us....

Afterwards, we enjoyed a great lunch at Fuddruckers, followed by doughnut birthday cake and candles!
A great day out.
This morning, I took the girls to ANOTHER party at a friend's house - it was great, but our weekends do feel at the moment to be consumed by birthday parties! I am a little tired of making small-talk with the other mums - although, today's party involved curry at 10am (lovely!) and champagne.....alcohol really does get you through it all! x
