Had a great birthday night last night.
Had a rehearsal after school for the Upper School Drama production (yes, I've managed to get myself involved in that too!) and then after work went to pick up Annalise from her ballet class. Whilst at the mall, Sharon rang me from the UK to wish me a Happy Birthday which was brilliant - I have so missed chatting to her! The line wasn't all that good, but we managed to do quite well regardless!
After that, we had friends Ricky & Jane and their little girl Tyla over for birthday drinks and we all ordered a fantastic Indian curry for dinner. One good thing about coming to Jakarta is that Andrew has suddenly decided that rice isn't so bad and he has actually had a couple of really good curry dinners! Yay! So more Indian for us now, methinks!
That was all washed down with wine and a Baskin 'n' Robbins ice cream cake that Andrew had bought me! Oh, it was GORGEOUS!!! I've never never had one before, but always wanted one so Andrew went out and got me a lovely chiocolate and strawberry one! The lovely man he is.
The girls bought me some yummy (much sought after at the moment) red wine and lots of scrummy smelling cranberry Christmas body shop stuff. Andrew bought me a day's spa package which includes an aromatherapy facial, full body and head massage, cream bath and manicure & pedicure. Heavenly!
The kids at school also bought me lots of gifts which was nice!
I am one lucky lady!
