Gong Xi Fa Cai

Welcome to the world, Verity! We've been waiting for you to arrive and now you're here! Finally! Yayyyyyyy! Now, we need lots of pictures Aunty Rie and Aunty (!) Pete! I've added this post to Friday rather than today so she was officially welcomed on her birthday day!

When the girls woke up this morning (Saturday), and I said that Verity had been born last night whilst they were asleep, Annalise said: "Verity? That's a nice name. It's like 'Very', but extra special with an 'it' in it! I'm going to call her 'Very Verity', 'cause she's extra special!'
So there you have it - the girls approve of your name, gorgeous little one!

Gong Xi Fa Cai (Gong She Far Sigh!) Happy Chinese New Year! Today at school, we had lots of 'Gong Xi' celebrations including watching a traditional Lion dance and Chinese orchestra. They are such talented performs and the way the dancers make the Lions/dragons move always amazes me. Tomorrow, the girls are singing in the mall in honour of the New Year - we will hopefully get some good footage!May the Year of the Ox be lucky for you all!
