Had a wonderful time last night. Will try to fill in on what we've been up to since we left Jakarta. I may have to do it in stages! Here's the Jakarta through to Christmas story!
The last week of school was whirlwindish - lots of parties including a children's one we had. The girls had a ball, but we were all sick the last two weeks of term so full of snot!

Left for Melbourne on the Sunday and arrived Monday 22nd. Have done lots of shopping(yay!) and we were manically rushing round trying to get the last few pressies bought for the girls.
Christmas Eve we got up early to go to Andrew's sisters work (Fiona) where her office had organised a Christmas party for little children in their conference room with Santa so we went into the city and the girls had a great time there. We then went out for a lovely Italian lunch and then did some last minute shopping before trying to get the girls into bed early. Amazingly, they did!
Annalise woke up at 5am the next morning, asking if it was Christmas and I told her it was still the night time. As I did at 8.30 when she woke up again! I finally agreed at 9.30 that it was time to get up, so both girls raced out of bed to see if Santa had come and drunk their orange juice and eaten the biscuits they'd left. And then they saw the presents under the tree!
Both the girls were so excited - it was gorgeous. They both got their much-wanted 'Baby Alive Dolls' in their Santa sacks and Barbie Dolls and Little People and Leappad Consoles and books. As well as heaps of clothes and shoes and books etc! No idea how we're going to get them back to Jakarta! The girls also adored their dresses from Stephen & Lauren - I've attached photos of them as they put them on as soon as they opened them!
I got a Wii from Andrew and a Wii Fit game and he got a shootem down WWII game from me. Yay!
We had a lovely Christmas lunch at Gwen's - gorgeous cold cuts and salads and seafood etc and then about 3pm we left for Fiona & Gary's where we were going for a family Christmas Dinner.
We had a great day - lots more present opening and far too much wine and beer were drunk. The day was just gorgeous and as it's not getting dark till about 10pm here (sometimes later), we spent most of it out in Fiona's yard - her garden is looking great. The girls loved playing in the grass and playing with their little cousin, Stephie. Plus, their Uncle David seems to enjoy swinging them around (Crazy man) so hours of pleasure for them there!
