Well, the community service team managed to raise enough money to tear down the old orphanage house and rebuild a spanking new one, built with proper foundations, up off the flood line with running water and toilet and electricity.
The pic above is Andrew and the kids working with 'Habitat For Humanity' - a world organisation that helps build homes for the poor. Andrew and his colleague, Caroline approached them last year and they agreed to donate laborers to help NJIS kids build a better home for the orphans.
It has been a long project, but they worked every week and most weekends from October onwards. This collage is photos of the work the week before Christmas.
