So, Annalise is completely and utterly IN LOVE with school. She started this past Wednesday and can't stop talking about how much fun it is - such a relief!
She is in Year 1A and has a lovely Irish teacher, Mr. Simon McInroy. Annalise says that he makes her laugh and that he is gentle and kind to her. He is also a numeracy guru - so perhaps Annalise will end up a Maths genius - just like her Grandad!
Annalise has made friends - "She's my best friend EVER" - with a little girl named Anna - not too confusing when they're together - much!
Fern, a daughter of one of the new staff we came in with is also in her class, as is my Head of department's daughter, Mia. so plenty of playdates will be arranged!
Juliette starts school on Wednesday and can't wait. She hates being at home alone with just Minerva, the nanny - she has never known it as she's always gone off to school with Annalise in the past. Won't be too long now.
