Incredible Hulks

So, this morning I took the girls off to a playdate with my friend, Nicki, from work who has just 'retired' as the school nurse and has now become a stay at home Mum until the end of the year. In June, she'll be relocating to Shanghai with her family. It was fun and we plan to do it again next Friday.

Then, after lunch, I decided it would be exciting to make our own homemade playdough. It was very successful. The girls had a ball!

Hours later, when Andrew was home, they were a little 'too quiet' in the bedroom. Uh oh.
Somehow Annalise had managed to reach up into the kitchen cabinets and had gotten hold of the food colouring.

Ooh bugger!

The green has not come out even after a bath and a shower. My two little girls look like modern art-deco Incredible Hulks.

Obviously, the girls have it in their heads that the Arts and Crafts theme for the week is to see how much of their bodies can be coloured in before Mum and Dad notice.

Juliette has a snotty cold and a croupy cough so I have been dosing her with paracetemol, cold medicine, ear-ache relief drops and cough mixture all day and am hoping she'll sleep well tonight!

Tomorrow's Andrew and my 4th anniversary. Going out for a family dinner with friends.
Maybe our 5th one will be a romantic one.
